Life Update #3

• Been very good about putting on sunscreen everyday. Every morning I would rinse my face with water then put on moisturizer before finishing it up with sunscreen. Hopefully this will pay off in the future. 

• My work decided to do Fall Friday since Summer Hours was a success and so many people have said good things about it. So starting on September 18th, each employee will have half days for every other Friday and everyone gets a total of 3 Friday. Really generous of my work to do this for us. I hope they will continue it for winter, but doubt it since that is usually our most busiest time of the year...but we shall see.
  

• Completed my Summer Mile Challenge! I walked at least a mile everyday for the full 2 months and a few extra days. So proud of myself. Even though I didn't win any of the raffle, I am still happy I completed it and I felt healthier. Although the challenge is over, I still want to try to go on walks at least 5 days a week just to stay active.

• Started french braiding my hair on the days I wash my hair. I would let my hair dry and then do two french braid before I sleep. My hair would be wavy the next day after I undo the braids. I feel like it has made my hair less greasy for longer and it feels nice just to have my hair out of my face when I am at home. Proud of myself for finally fully learning how to french braid. It is still pretty messy, but hopefully it will continue to look better as I practice more.
  

• Received my standing desk and I set up 90% of it all by myself. The last 10% I needed Gabe to help me since it required two people. It is right by the window in the living room and that has become my new paint station for now. It is perfect because of the natural lighting.
  

• Omg it is almost the end of September. Wth, where did the time go?!?!?
  

• Found out yesterday that my birthday is on election day. This could either be the worse or best birthday ever. Hoping that it will be the best birthday! Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee pleaseeeee pleaseeee.
  

• I don't like the new Blogger look. Feels more complicated. I miss the old look. Please bring it back.
