2021 Life Change

 Three major things come to mind when I think back about big life changes in 2021...

1. Moving into my first home that I bought in January, after house renovation and cleaning is finished. Felt really nice moving into a clean and renovated home. Transitioning from renting an apartment to owning a home + paying monthly mortgage. Definitely had to be more organized with my finance and making sure that I am making my mortgage, HOA, and utilities payment on time. I do not have automatic payments set up for anything because I like to document things down on an excel spreadsheet before I make the payment just so that I am aware of the cost of everything and for tracking purpose. Keeping the house clean since I do own the place and want to make sure everything is in good condition. Adjusting to a new neighborhood, which wasn't hard. I love the location I am at, it is so close to everything. Definitely feels like home now after a year of living there. 
   

1. Getting a new job at Providence. I actually got two job offers at the same time, but I decided that Providence was a better choice for me. Left my job at M Financial on good terms with everyone and started at Providence on the last week of June. It has been a roller coaster working at Providence, mostly good though. Definitely a huge change since I have never worked in Healthcare before and have zero knowledge on healthcare. I feel that my work is definitely a lot more meaningful and relatable compared to my previous jobs. 
   

1. Adopting Mello. Was looking for like a few months with Gabe and then it all happened so quickly. Before we knew it, we brought Mello home with us beginning of July. Going from knowing nothing about how to take care of a cat to being a full on cat mom now keke. I love Mello so much and he brings a lot of joy to me. He is just so cute and I can never stay mad at him for climbing on things, scratching the couch, etc. He has definitely helped me with my mental health and it is so comforting knowing that he is there even when I am sad. He is my baby boy. I love holding him and giving him lots of kisses.
