Life Update #12

Here are some updates that come to mind at the moment since like the beginning of 2023. In no particular order.
  • My thumb is all better now yay. I think I sprained it or something so it took like a month to heal.
  • Still using my stepper. The best workout investment I have ever made. I love it so much. Been trying to do it a total of an hour (in 20 minute intervals) every day for most days.
  • Started watching the drama, Till the End of the Moon. It is sooo good and I am so obsessed! I have been waiting for like a year for it to air. Bai Lu is one of my favorite actress, she is amazing.
  • I have knitted a scarf for Gabe (as part of his birthday gift), another one for myself and a mini blanket for Mello using the same yarn materials. My blanket is still unfinished, slowly working on it lol. I think after I accidentally ripped the end of it I have been feeling very discouraged and unmotivated to work on it.
  • Visited Daniel and Ryan in Seattle for the weekend with Rosie and V back in February. So much fun!! So happy that we were able to make it happen after like 3-4 attempts due to various circumstances.
  • Have this super cute cat calendar on my desk from Jiwon. I love it! I haven't had a desk calendar in forever. Been using it more rather than looking at my phone calendar to figure out the date and stuff.
  • Went to Seaside for 2 nights for Gabe's 30th birthday. A fun getaway celebrating the birthday boy.
  • Melanie knitted me this puffy navy blue cardigan. It's so warm and comfy. She finished it in like a day, so nice. Since I requested it, I paid her for the yarn and the time/effort she spent on it.
  • Got to meet baby Samson, Rose's nephew. He is such a handsome and cute baby. So precious.
  • Replaced the sink in the office room since it has been leaking. Thankful that my dad is so handy and helped me replace it. Love the new sink.
  • Went to Canada for like 4 days with Gabe for our 8 year anniversary. Experience > Gifts. It was a fun trip. I drove straight for a little more than 6.5 hours from Portland to Vancouver BC. No stopping at all, I am still surprised I was able to drove that long with no breaks. A new record for me lol.
  • Have my very first custom keyboard from Raymond and Wilson. It is so pretty and I love typing on it so much. So nice of them to get me one, thank youuu.
  • Cut my hair twice within the past few weeks. It is the same length but just with lots of layer. After the first cut it was still too thick for me so I did a second cut exactly a week later. It is much better and even more layers, exactly what I wanted.
